Triggers, filters and actions are an integral part of setting up rules of automation and streamlining your workflow.

Note: You must integrate relevant web apps to your Smarketly account before setting up triggers, filters and actions.



Triggers. Add a trigger to cause a rule to take a specific action.

For example, your trigger can be a form completion on your page, a sales page visit or even both.


Filters. Add a filter to triggers to execute a rule for a specific audience.

For example, you can set you filter only to include those visitors who have completed a trigger in the last 7 days or a month.


Actions. Define an action and an integration that will perform it once a rule is triggered.

Now that your triggers and filters are ready, you can choose an action that will be best suited for your automation rule. Choose the integration you want to use together with the action.

For example, the action can be adding or removing subscribers from a list or sending them an email.
