The Inspector tab contains a set of essential tools designed to customize and style your pages and marketing creatives.

1. Click the Builder tab in the main navigation bar and select the kind of creative you want to start building: landing page, popup, form or email.

2. You can also click "My templates" and go to a page with all your existing pages and creatives.

Click "Category" to select a specific type of creative from the drop-down menu.

Tip: You can also look for an existing page or creative by name via the search field.

3. To demonstrate all the options presented in the Inspector tab, let's take any popup template and start editing it in the Builder.

Tip: The popup features the largest number of default Inspector tools.

Using the Inspector tab

4. In the Drag-and-Drop Builder, click the second tab in the top right-hand corner labelled "Inspector".

In order to start using it, you need to select an element first.

5. Once you select an element in your page or any other creative, click the Pencil icon in the formatting toolbar and the Inspector tab will become accessible.

Tips: Alternatively, you can click the Pencil icon in the top menu of the left sidebar.

Use breadcrumbs to navigate your page's hierarchy, which will appear once you select an element.

Attributes

6. Go to Attributes to specify what devices you want to make the element visible on.

Besides, you can select the element's type and position on the page, as well as assign its ID and class, which will be used for tracking later on.

Tip: You can set similar class names for different elements, if you want them to have identical styling.

Text Style

7. In the Text Style section, you can change the text’s font, size, color, and style, as well as specify its position inside the container.

Click the G icon to access additional font options.

Tip: Read more about the Paragraph element here to get a better understanding of text customization.

Padding

8. The Padding tool allows you to generate space around the content of an element.

Select to which inner side of an element you want to add space to, drag the scroll to increase its size or manually define the padding area by indicating the number of pixels or percentage.
